| Submissions Photos you submit to the group's gallery must be taken with a Canon camera, for us to know it has been taken with a Canon, it MUST have the EXIF data in the dA info. As there is no longer a dA rule stating a photo needs to be a min of 400 pixels, we are making it a group rule. If a photo is smaller then 400 pixels on any side, we will not be accepting it. You may only submit one photos per week, to keep the gallery balanced. Your submissions will be voted upon, based on a number of factors. If you would like to know why your art was declined you have the option of either A ) When you send your art in, you will get a message in your message centre saying your art is in the voting progress. In that message, you will see to the right it says "0 comments" click on that. A page will load up, in there you have the option to leave a comment. Just leave a comment saying something like "Please let me know why this was declined if declined" Then if it is declined one of the admin in the group will get back to you giving you a reason why. B ) If your art is declined you will get a message saying it was declined. In that message, again on the right hand side there is an option to leave a comment, click on that and leave a comment saying something along the lines of "Can someone please let me know why my art was declined" To submit a photo ( NOT over edited photos) which already exists within your own personal gallery, please visit the group's gallery and click on "Submit to this Gallery." In the drop-down menu, select "Contribute an Existing Deviation" and select the piece of your choice. Favourites Before suggesting a piece to be in the group's Favourites, check and make sure it was taken with a Canon camera. This can be done on the wide majority of pieces by looking at the Camera Data module beside the Artist's Comment.[example] Your suggestion will be reviewed and voted upon by the group's administrators, and after a few votes it will be added.  This is just to make sure we showcase the cream of the crop, so to speak.What Else? Watcher You can add the group to your deviantWATCH, if you don't feel you'd want to participate but still want updates on club activities and to see our gallery grow. Member You can join the group as a Member by clicking the "Join Our Group" button at the top of the home page. By joining as a member, you can take part in group discussions, submit your artwork to the group's gallery, and suggest favourites. Sounds pretty nifty, yeah? Contributor A contributor is an administrative position; you have the responsibility of voting on member submissions and keeping the group looking nice, as well as interacting with the members and giving them feedback when asked for. This is only open for all when we need new admin. Send us a note if you're unsure about anything. |
